On Twitter? Party with Haunt Jaunts and Help Raise Money for the Lymphoma Research Foundation
I was diagnosed with Stage 2 B-cell non-hodgkins lymphoma on December 31, 2008. After spending a good chunk of 2009 undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, I am happy to report I'm now in remission. Yay!
However, another part of my treatment involved starting Haunt Jaunts, my travel blog for restless spirits which provides a passport to paranormal tourism for ghost enthusiasts. It was my "get off the couch" project during my good days. It really gave me something to look forward to. Heck, I'd even say live for!
March 30, 2010 will mark the day I made my first post one year ago. I'm throwing a big party to celebrate the anniversary. But no celebration would be complete without paying homage to why Haunt Jaunts was even born in the first place.
That's why I'm donating five cents to the Lymphoma Research Foundation for every Twitter follower Haunt Jaunts (@HauntJaunts) has come March 30, 2010.
If you happen to have a Twitter account, I'd really appreciate the follow. I'd like to try and raise as much money for LRF (@lymphoma) as I can.
And if you wouldn't mind RTing the message, that would be even better! (If you go to Haunt Jaunts' Twitter profile you'll see I have a handy write up in the bio you can copy, paste and RT at will.)

UGH! No I did not post about your interview. I got your message and had meant to, but I didn't understand how the blog thing worked back then. I thought it was only for certain people. Then yesterday I figured out it's not. That anyone can post.
Hmmm...but it's never too late to rectify it, right? I'm on it!

Good to hear from you again, Courtney! Usually best to not assume the worst when someone drops out of sight for awhile but sometimes that is unfortunately the case; very glad that you are in remission.
Haunt Jaunts is a terrific site and you are clearly making the most of it. And I don't think either of us ever mentioned on this site that it includes a great interview you did with me last fall an in which you got me talking about things I had never mentioned in any previous interviews (http://hauntjaunts.net/blog/2009/09/07/haunted-road-tripping-through-maryland-and-virginia-with-michael-j-varhola/).
