I was diagnosed with Stage 2 B-cell non-hodgkins lymphoma on December 31, 2008. After spending a good chunk of 2009 undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, I am happy to report I'm now in remission. Yay!
However, another part of my treatment involved starting
Haunt Jaunts, my travel blog for restless spirits which provides a passport to paranormal tourism for ghost enthusiasts. It was my "get off the couch" project during my good days. It really gave me something to look forward to. Heck, I'd even say live for!
March 30, 2010 will mark the day I made my first post one year ago. I'm throwing a big party to celebrate the anniversary. But no celebration would be complete without paying homage to why Haunt Jaunts was even born in the first place.
That's why I'm donating five cents to the
Lymphoma Research Foundation for every Twitter follower Haunt Jaunts (@
HauntJaunts) has come March 30, 2010.
If you happen to have a Twitter account, I'd really appreciate the follow. I'd like to try and raise as much money for LRF (@
lymphoma) as I can.
And if you wouldn't mind RTing the message, that would be even better! (If you go to Haunt Jaunts' Twitter profile you'll see I have a handy write up in the bio you can copy, paste and RT at will.)
