Many new people are joining the ranks of paranormal investigators. New teams are formed ever day around the country. Joining a ghost hunting group is fun, exciting and rewarding, but it is also laden with responsibilities which must be considered.

If you are a paranormal investigator in or around the metro Washington D.C. area and you have not investigated Gabriel’s Inn, then you have really missed out on something special. One reward of being involved in activities is the people you get to meet. There are so many interesting people in the metro D.C. area doing exciting work in the paranormal, that it was hard to decide who I would use to launch this series of articles.

So far this year Mother Nature has ensured that much of the country has been faced with unusual cold and in many cases, record snows. January also tends to be a fairly slow time of year for many investigators and many public investigation locations. That being said, this is a great time to pull out your equipment and perform some maintenance on it.

I find myself engaged in some interesting conversations involving the paranormal, and I am frequently asked if I really do believe in ghosts and an afterlife. I politely answer that yes, in fact I do believe in both, which I know will almost certainly be followed by the dreaded question, “Why”?
