What Did You Do For Halloween?
With so many ghosthunters and fans of the paranormal active on this site, I would be very interested in hearing what people did for Halloween and think it would be great if people posted their experiences here!
If what you have to say is fairly brief, feel free to just respond to this initial post. If your account is much more detailed, is supported by pictures, etc., it might be easier to post to your America's Haunted Road Trip blog (all registered members have one), upload photos, etc., and then post a reply here with links back to those elements. In any event, that is the sort of thing this site is for, so let's hear from you!
For my part, I spent the night in a very haunted little German graveyard in south Texas and will post about it as I get my photos downloaded, tape transcribed, and account written up. To say that I was surrounded by the spirits of the dead throughout the night would not be an exaggeration. I took a number of photos, about half of which showed orbs and one other sort of anomaly I have never seen before. Nothing too supernatural in my corner of the country. I did get a chance to see a production of Evil Dead: The Musical put on by a theater company in Louisville. It was as a good show, and everyone in the first four rows was soaked with stage blood.

"I was home dressed as the Angel of Death giving out candy," paranormal author Andy Nunez wrote to me. "I had a faceless hood on and a little girl wanted to know what my face looked like underneath and I said 'maybe I don't have one' to which her companion said 'OK, I'm scared now,' and they left quickly."
"I was at Poplar Hill on Halloween Eve," Andy continued. "One visitor was touched on her shoulder in the basement by the ghost of Samuel while I was upstairs explaining about the Clara Gunby photo that has strange images appear in it. Also, the room where the servant Sarah was burned to death became amazingly cold while I was up there. You want ghosts, friends, pack your grips and come on down to the Good Ol' Eastern Shore!"
Andy would know, as he has devoted much of his career as a writer to chronicling weird and supernatural events in that region of Maryland.

The night before Halloween - and technically the early morning of Halloween - I investigated a local cemetery with my team, PSI of Oregon, and captured the picture attached. What we SAW was an older man in a suit walking toward us, albiet only from the waist up, but what came through on the camera was something different - this was lightened a bit so we could see detail.....Then, on Halloween night, I "ooohhh-ed and aaahhhh-ed over my 4 month old grandson, Brandon, in his Bumblebee costune! LOL

I scared the living daylights out of as many kids as I could LOL. This is my favorite time of the year. I am planning a huge investigation for Halloween next year. I finally got the ok from my youngest son that I can go ghost hunting and I dont have to take him trick or treating next year. I cant wait!!!

A Witch, a Pirate Wench, the Greaser and the Poodle Skirt Girl, the Biker from Hell, Zorro, and Miss Smartee Pants were gathered together in the dimly lit dining room. As we toasted each other and those long gone we thought our compliment complete. A silence fell over the group as we watched the back door slowly open and awaited another who would join our masquerade ball. Who could it be? An interloper? We are all here! We waited, but no one entered. Was it the wind that moved the door? Someone stirred as if they would go and close it, but just then the door so mysteriously opened, now closed itself.

I did a book signing earlier that day, sharing the limelight with a horror fiction author. Then went home, we made pizza got from Costco and I watched Paranormal shows on History Channel while we answered the doorbell to kids trick-or-treating.
